Zello Receives SOC 2, Type II Certification; Launches Zello Trust Center

Voice-first communication platform Zello today announced the launch of the Zello Trust Center, which displays the most up-to-date records on the company’s security and compliance. The Trust Center was launched following the completion of Zello’s Service Organization Control (SOC) 2, Type II audit.

SOC 2 Type II is a comprehensive security audit created by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) that examines five Trust Services Criteria: security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy. It is considered the gold standard of enterprise audits, validating that an organization’s controls on customer data function as intended.

Zello’s SOC 2 Type II audit was completed in December 2023 by auditing firm Prescient Assurance, with no exceptions noted.

The Zello Trust Center is the single source of truth on Zello’s overall security and compliance posture and an easy way for Zello clients and prospects to verify that Zello meets all compliance standards. It provides status updates on Zello’s continuous monitoring in areas of app security, data security, infrastructure security, network security, organization security, and product security.
